Our Story
About
TAJ Model School
TAJ Model School is the flagship educational initiative of the Dharsona Village Development Society for Education & Health (DVDSEH). Established in 2023, the school was born from a simple but powerful belief: every child in rural Bengal deserves access to quality education — regardless of economic background.
Located in Village Dharsona, Purba Bardhaman, we serve first-generation learners with a curriculum rooted in conceptual understanding, creative exploration, and digital literacy.
Curriculum
Academics
A balanced, West Bengal Board-aligned curriculum enriched with project-based learning, computer education, and cultural activities.
Mathematics
Foundational arithmetic through geometry, and logical reasoning exercises.
Science
Hands-on experiments exploring physics, chemistry, and life sciences with hands-on projects
Languages
Bengali, Hindi & English — literature, grammar, and expressive communication.
Computer Education
Digital literacy, typing, and basic programming for modern-world readiness.
Social Studies
History, geography, and civic values fostering conscious citizenship.
Arts & Culture
Drawing, dance, recitation, craft, music, and cultural events nurturing creativity.

Introduction to basic financial concepts and money management skills.

Admissions
We welcome students from all backgrounds. Education at TAJ Model School is completely free of cost.
Eligibility
Open to children aged 4–12 from Dharsona and surrounding rural areas. First-generation learners are especially encouraged.
Application
Visit the school office or contact us by phone/email to collect and submit the admission form.
Document Submission
Provide birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and previous class marksheet (if applicable).
Interaction
A brief informal interaction with the student and parent/guardian to understand background and needs.
Enrollment
Upon confirmation, complete enrollment formalities. Nominal fee structure; concessions available.

Scratch-based visual coding — loops, conditions, and simple animations.
Internet & Email
Email etiquette, search skills, online safety, and responsible digital citizenship.
AI Awareness
What AI is, how it's used in daily life, and ethical thinking for young learners.
